This book lists names, ranks, companies, and the Pennsylvania Archives numerical code for men who served during the American Revolution as Frontier Rangers from Washington County, Pennsylvania, being employed against the Indians of the Seneca tribes of Ohio. These men are believed to have served as Frontier Rangers until the end of hostilities in late 1782. Washington County men who served prior to 1781 would be found listed among the Westmoreland County Rangers rolls. In addition there are lists of Revolutionary War burials of Greene and Washington County. Old Washington County included Greene County.
