Harrison County, located in the northwestern part of the state, was created on 14 February 1845 and named from Albert G. Harrison, U. S. Representative for the state. This volume contains a brief history of the county, Civil War Soldiers discharge papers, Atlas of 1876 and Death Register for 1883-1893.
