Lincoln County, found in middle Tennessee, was created on November 14,1809 from a part of Bedford County and was named for General Benjamin Lincoln, who performed great services in the American Revolutionary War. This volume contains some of the special wills, abstracted wills and inventories and miscellaneous records. When the information is found in a bound volume, the page numbers of the original are given as well as the names and relationships are noted. The dates the will was written and then when recorded are given with the witnesses, clerks and other signatures.
