Osage County, located more or less in the center of Missouri, was created in 1841 from Gasconade County. Around this time, many German and French settlers immigrated to the state. Entries in this volume are taken from Marriage Record Book A, including marriage date, groom, and bride, as well as the names of the ministers and justices who officiated. The death register includes name, date of death, age, occupation, where born, and residence where known.
