Quit Your Meanness: A Sermon by Sam Jones

$4.00

Samuel Porter Jones was born on 16 Oct 1847 in Oak Bowery, Chambers County, Alabama. He joined the North Georgia Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church, South, in Atlanta in 1872. He held, at the invitations of numerous pastors, several revivals around the country.

Clearly one of the most popular speakers of his time, Jones was often quoted by numerous speakers who saw him as the model of both the platform and the pulpit. Jones often spoke to two or three thousand people. He became known as the American Evangelist.
