This volume contains entries of Surveys of Land in Caroline County, Virginia dated from 1729, which predate any other extant Records of this County. In addition to the Surveys, there is an Appendix of additional material relative to the Surveys contributed by Mr. Norman Peters, Washington, DC. In addition, the Proceedings of the Caroline County Committee of Safety for the years 1774-1775 have been abstracted and included in this book.
