This book lists over 2,400 burial sites where United States soldiers were buried during the Civil War and the Indian Wars. All major Civil War battlefields and most western post cemeteries are included, with much never-before-published information. This book is the key to finding the reburial locations. It does not, however, provide the names of individual soldiers. The cemeteries are listed alphabetically by state and contain the following information: history, dates and number of burials, and volume numbers of The Roll of Honor that contain the names of the soldiers buried in that cemetery.
